She’s written articles and ran social media accounts for anything from her hometown dance studio and college comedy club to start-up companies and major television networks. She loves writing in all forms from personal essays to ghostwriting her friend's Instagram captions. Growing up, most of her family worked for a New England chain of grocery stores so food was — and is — always top of mind. Experience Alexa Rockwell began her career doing social media and copywriting at One Mighty Mill, a start-up company selling delicious stone-milled flour, bagels, and tortillas. She went on to work as an online editor at Warner Bros. Discovery, where she wrote articles, filmed videos, and programmed social for Travel Channel, Investigation Discovery, and HGTV. Education Alexa graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a dual bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications and a minor in film studies. While at school, she co-directed, wrote, and produced a web series, was a member of the standup comedy club, and worked as a communications peer advisor.
