[Editor's note: The skillets appear to be sold out again, but here is our guide to the other cast iron skillets we highly recommend.]

Yeti fans, stop what you are doing right now and listen. Do you remember when Yeti dropped its long-awaited cast iron skillet last year, and it sold out in 12 hours? We do, and even reached out to Yeti to see when the skillet would return. Well, at long last, Yeti has finally re-launched the skillet, and it’ll now be available in three different sizes: 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch

You’ve surely noticed the price tag on the skillet, but I’m here to tell you that it’s a pretty fantastic pan, since I was fortunate enough to score one in last year’s drop. They have a beautiful sheen because they’re polished and pre-seasoned, meaning you’ll be able to cook with them after a quick rinse, and they’re also free of any PFOA coatings that some consumers like to avoid. The heat retention and distribution are top-notch, and these skillets will be equally powerful when used on outdoor campfires and portable grills as they would be in your indoor range or oven. The pans also come with scrapers to help get dried food and oil off when cleaning.

Having three skillet sizes will be game-changing for Yeti fans. In the smaller ones, you can do single-serving meals, eggs, omelets, tortillas, and solo portions of proteins like fish or beef. With the larger skillet, you can make one-pan dishes, veggies, hashes, bacon, and flour-based items like biscuits, cornbread, and pizza. There are truly no rules as to what you can do with these.

So whether you’re stocking up for an end-of-summer adventure, looking a few months ahead to some wintery braises and baked dishes, or getting your gear together for next year’s camping season, I recommend jumping on these Yeti skillets quickly. If they sell like they did last year, you might only have a few hours to grab them.
