News McDonald's Just Released a Taylor Swift-Themed Meal — and Yes, There Are Friendship Bracelets Are you ready for it? By Stacey Leasca Published on November 15, 2024 Close Photo: Food & Wine / McDonald's / Getty Images Taylor Swift is finally heading off for the last leg of her Eras Tour, which feels like it's both been going on forever and ending way too quickly — at least if you're a Swiftie. And she's saying goodbye to this epic, worldwide tour by heading North for a few shows in Toronto and Vancouver before hopefully heading off to a well-deserved vacation. But, again, she's still got a few more shows to go — and McDonald's is here to celebrate. On Tuesday, the fast food chain announced its new Bestie Bundle meal, which is meant to be shared with someone you love. The bundle includes two Junior Chicken sandwiches, two small fries, two small fountain drinks, and, yes, two friendship bracelets. But here's the catch: It's only available in Canada, meaning only die-hard Swift fans making the trek north will get to try it. McDonald's Fan-Favorite Holiday Pies Are Officially Back — but Only for a Limited Time "Nothing says friendship like sharing what you love — and that’s why starting today, McDonald’s Canada is inviting all besties to share a meal together with the launch of the Bestie Bundle, available for a very limited time at participating McDonald’s restaurants, while supplies last," McDonald's shared in a press release. Each bundle is going for $13 (plus tax), and there are five different bracelets available, each with an adorable saying like "Live Laugh Big Mac" and "Share fries l8r?" — and you can, of course, choose to keep it or trade it at the concerts if you wish. Bake Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Favorite Cinnamon Rolls for Super Bowl Brunch “We brought our guests the Bestie Bundle because we know that our favorite McDonald’s orders bring friends together," Alyssa Buetikofer, the chief marketing officer of McDonald’s Canada, shared. "With the Bestie Bundle, we invite best friends everywhere to share a meal with a little something extra to remember it by." And while the bundle was meant to spread a little joy, global fans were quick to share just how upset they were to learn this would only be available in Canada on the company's TikTok post announcing the limited-time offering. "America is on fire right now…I need a little bestie bundle of joy," one commenter noted. "Canada, how does it feel to be loved," another added. But you could always go out and buy a Big Mac for you and your bestie and make bracelets together, which would be just as magical… right? Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why!
