When there's something strange, and it don't look good. Who you gonna call? Apparently, this time, it's best to call Krispy Kreme.

On Monday, the Charlotte-based doughnut chain announced, "There’s something sweet in the neighborhood this Halloween — the all-new Krispy Kreme x Ghostbusters Collection," which includes four doughnuts you need to try, all in time for the 40th anniversary of the film's debut, too.

“Yes, it’s true, these treats are no trick. When it comes to Halloween this year, you know who to call,” Dave Skena, the global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “Krispy Kreme is the gatekeeper to Halloween sweetness and Sony Pictures Consumer Products is the key master to bring spooky-sweet Ghostbusters doughnuts to our fans this year. You’re welcome, Gozer.”

The doughnuts included in the limited-edition set include the Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut made with Oreo, which is "an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with Oreo pieces, a dollop of buttercreme with Oreo and a No Ghost logo candy."

Next, there's the Slimer Doughnut, an unglazed doughnut filled with lemon-flavored green filling and dipped in purple and green icing with a Slimer candy on top. There's also the Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut, which is an Original Glazed dipped in orange-colored icing and sprinkled with neon sprinkles, along with the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart, another Original Glazed, this time in Doughnut Dots form, with powdered topping, topped with marshmallow-flavored buttercreme and a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man candy.

But that's not all. Beyond the doughnuts, Krispy Kreme is also releasing a "chilling new drink," the Slimer’s Slime-ade, which comes in a "signature ectoplasm green" hue.

Hang on because it's got one more trick up its sleeve, which I guess also doubles as a treat. "Krispy Kreme is offering guests who wear any Halloween costume to participating shops on Oct. 31 a Free Original Glazed doughnut, no purchase necessary," the team added.

Ghostbusters and sweets fans can get the new doughnuts in a six-count assorted box in stores and at select grocery stores. Just maybe think twice about storing any leftovers in the fridge. You never know what's going to come out of there.
