Say goodbye to Goldfish. At least for a little while.

On Wednesday, the famous snack brand announced it's officially changing is name to Chilean Sea Bass, which will be available for sale on ChileanSeaBassCrackers.com. Why? Because, according to Goldfish — er, Chilean Sea Bass — it wanted to remind everyone that its crackers aren't just for little kids.

"Because Goldfish is not just for kids, and the brand has known this for some time," the company shared in a statement with Food & Wine. "The name change to Chilean Sea Bass is a playful reminder to adult snackers (particularly those Gen Zers and Millennials) who grew up with Goldfish that the fish-shaped snack made with 100% real cheddar baked goodness is still a go-to choice."

It also noted that its recent flavor releases — including its Goldfish Old Bay Seasoned Crackers, Spicy Dill Pickle, and Goldfish Frank’s RedHot Crackers — were specifically created with its adult clientele in mind.  And, as the company shared, it's gearing up to reintroduce one more famous flavor that is ideal for the holiday season: Goldfish Elf Maple Syrup Flavored Grahams, which are set to come out later this month.

“We know the love for Goldfish spans all ages," Danielle Brown, the vice president of Goldfish, added. "Chilean Sea Bass is a playful nod to adults that the iconic fish-shaped snack is for grown-up tastes too.”

Starting today, snackers can head to ChileanSeaBassCrackers.com and purchase two bags of Chilean Sea Bass crackers for $7.38 — but only while supplies last. And this is a limited-time drop, so you know these are going to go fast. However, fans can expect new releases of the bags every day through Oct. 30 at 9 a.m. ET.

And if you feel especially connected with the Goldfish brand, don't worry. This new label won't last forever.
